Merry Christmas and a smooth 2013
#1
Well, in case there is still someone left in this forum ... have a nice christmas time and a happy 2013.

My girlfriend and I are going to hike the highest mountain of the continent during the next few days. Given the expected night temperatures we may see more snow than good ol' Germany based on what I saw in the weather forecasts. :-))

Same to you Klaus. Have a great Xmas and enjoy your break. Was talking yesterday to my son in Melbourne via Skype. He said it had been 37 Celius during the day - too hot. Don't envy you hiking in that sort of heat.

Hope your container arrived OK.

Happy New Year to you and all at PZ. Hope the OZ economy doesn't have the Rigor Mortis that has characterised us here in the EU over the past 5 years.

.....so quiet here? - well one avid contributor Bc has been keeping a low profile here lately.....so his many friends and supporters also can't think of a thing to say :-) ....

....yes indeed also to everyone else here and elsewhere......

.....and good to see you both taking our traditional extended christmas/new years break down here seriously also, but while you can take the boy out of Bavaria you can't take Bavaria out of the boy..... so to the mountains you must go..... but we don't do real mountains down here so it might be a struggle finding the real thing......and maybe more slush and mud if the weather turns.....

.....and on another matter, i'm glad to say that another Pz report on the white sands of Hyams beach is also accurate, they are very white, + the most notable observation from Jervis bay (the Hyams beach location) yesterday on christmas eve was the number of european tourists down here ......the only aussies i could find were the ones trying to relieve the tourists of their money :-) .....possibly a slight exaggeration

a couple of very quickies from Hyams beach yesterday - the annual break...... from a warmer place - two pictures, two cameras -
