White Christmas?
#1
Not over here, it seems. It's grey, wet and foggy. Anybody else having more luck? If so, show us, please <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' />

Markus,

Have Klaus send you some pictures of "gum" trees.

Australia, where the trees are always green and there is always something in bloom. I lived there for 12 years and I will visit for most of March.

No snow here in London UK. Just wet and miserable. Will post if snow does come but none is forecast over the holiday period.

Well, still no snow over here, but at least we have winter-like temperatures now. And this morning, for the first time in what feels like months, that bright yellow thing was visible in the sky again.

Oh, forgot to mention: all shot with the new Nikkor AF-S 70-200/4 VR <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' />

Lens arrived yesterday and so far looks very promising.

Hehe nice.... You seem to use the lens as I use my 70-200mm f4 L USM often... Nice close ups.

Thanks. I'm sure quite a few would agree that I tend to use any lens that way <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Wink' />

But, more seriously: now that I have shot with the lens, I realize how much I missed the 70-200/4L the recent years.
