Hi there,



Why are there no MTF figures for the extreme borders of telephoto lenses and for the long end of zooms shown?

Is it just because it is deemed less important, like for shooting portraits, or are the results so bad?

Extreme corner values are only given when they show a real difference to the border performance. Usually, only wider angle lenses show a real difference in the corners.



So, when you see no extreme corner figures, that means that the lens performs the same there as in the border figures.
