You might want to wait for Capture One 7 and try it out. The dpreview RSS feed had a release anncouncement today, but I guess they were early; it is not on their website. The announcement said C1 7 finally has integrated digital asset management, in case that matters to you.
Anyway, on my computer, C1 6 is lagging and crashing from time to time, while Lightroom's performance and stability is just fine. On the other hand, I found C1 to give the most pleasing results in terms of color rendition. To come close to these results, I had to invest quite some time when using Lightroom.
Lightroom is best as an overall package with the library and the ease of printing, but the color output of C1 alone may be worth it. I keep switching between the two.
