You take this lens and put in on the newly announced Canon 6d, I think that might be a knockout for video.(under 1kg) Would have really liked to see how it would perform handheld in video mode. Standing still I bet it would look as good as a tripod shot, with some practice you might even be able to get good moving shots out of it.
You are already shooting wide plus you have the apparently above average in camera IS, you could have on location reporters with these getting totally usable footage off a very compact setup. Plus you could throw it on a camera that is mounted(or holding in car) on a car and reduce road bumps(without large rigging).
I know video is beyond the objective of photozone, but i sure wish there was a stable source of reviews judging these lens on their video performance.
