Canon 6D announced
#1
And I must confess I'm extremely disappointed. I struggle to find even a single thing in this camera that I like. For me it's the exact opposite of the 5D3, which I love. <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Sad' /> Yikes.

Also, with 18MP, 20MP, 21MP and 22MP FF sensors currently selling I'm positive Canon's next FF will have 19MP.

You're not alone with your opinion, Yakim. But please feel free to join the whining over here <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' />

I can't. It's locked. <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' /> Also, why wasn't it posted on the EOS forum?

The EOS 6D's AF system may well be very capable. This hands on report does point that way. He mentions the very responsive and quick outer AF points, and the great super low light ability of the center AF point.

What I do like about the 6D is the low weight (for its size and FF), the great LCD (same as all new Canon EOS DSLRs) and the availability of the Eg-S focus screen. The thing I like less about it is the lack of swivel LCD.

I do kinda like the built in WiFi too, in combination with the smartphone app.
