I don't quite understand the expectation of a "cheap" 12-35 f2.8 m4/3 lens! Why should it be less expensive than the equivalent Canon or Nikon lens (half the price of the Canon lens)? Smaller size does not amount to lower price; the number of operations involved are most important and they would be no less than a FF lens. If this lens will sell at 900€ this summer, it is reasonable in terms of market levels. The equivalent new Tamron sells at 1200€!! If the quality is good, and it seems to be, given that it is a zoom, then this is a good deal.
