There is nothing to hide with that outcome: The CZ24mm at f/2.0, CZ24-70 at f/2.8 and 24mm and even the CZ16-35 or Minolta 20mm (which I also have) produce nothing less than fogginess at the corners of the NEX-7, NEX-5 and even A900 sensor (for that one in APSC mode). This is consistent with their published MTFs.
You should realize that wide-angle lenses are not as sharp as you seem to believe, wide open. So I do not see the point in seeking to compare corner sharpness on wide-angle lenses wide open, because it is not good on probably all lenses. It is not a "more sensible test" it is a test which is not sensible at all (if we are interested in sensor response).
On standard lenses or short telephotos, things are different. But then the published pictures for the CZ24-70 lens at 50mm and f/2.8 should be sufficient to prove that the NEX-7 can give sharp corners for this kind of lenses. Quite impressive results for that particular lens, BTW.
BTW: if you want to see results, you can find my lenses tested at all apertures on the A900 on my flickr account. A crop of the A900 data should give you an idea of the results for an APS-C camera of about 10-11 Mpix.
