I saw that. I'm curious about that dot in between 500 and 600mm <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Tongue' />

SMC Pentax-DA 560mm 1:5.6.. DO WANT! Seriously <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Tongue' /> Who wants a kidney?

Also, the image of the lens that goes quite far into the camera body for the K-01. Why? Isn't it better to not have the light bend so much?

They just want to demonstrate that sticking with the traditional longer SLR flange-mount does not preclude producing a compact length system (body+lens)...whether it makes optical sense on digital or not...they could do it if they wanted to.

It looks so much like a 400/4 lens with a TC permanently welded to it. If I'd been shooting Pentax, I'd much rather have that, and use TCs as needed.
