My personal favorite of the limited selection so far:

well, while everyone's talking about something else, i do so hate to see the one all alone with mst left out in the cold .....

so this is to bubble the one up to the top at least once ..... i think this lens looks quite fine and even at 110 looks sharp to me on the sample pix .... it's remarkable the quality of the pictures that can be achieved from such a small little sensor - possibly not so sure about the industrial design now though - ta m

No worries - the traffic statistics for the Nikkor 1 tests are actually looking good. :-) That's true for most mirrorless tests, BTW.

The 10-100mm looks a bit ridiculous on the J1/V1 but these smaller lenses are sort-of sexy. I also like the design actually.

Of the lenses, yes. Personally, I don't find the V1 really attractive. But I'm afraid I'm not part of the targeted customer group anyway.

The review units I'm currently testing in the field are certainly more my kind of meat <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Wink' />

Maybe it helps to make it more sexy:

I saw those earlier, but wondered if they would look as good in reality as they look on these product shots.

Nikon offers a leather half-case, too, however I'm not sure if it's available, yet. I purchased their leather hand strap, which is actually quite nice.

I got one of those leatherette wraps for the E-P1 way back then... the quality was good and the adhesive is still holding on fine now. But I guess they may vary depending on who makes them.

Having said that, I don't think it adds much the the 1's looks, at least not for the black model as the lack of contrast means you don't really see it. Maybe it'll work better on another colour body, or if they made it in a different colour.

How fast is focusing when compared Nikkor 70-300mm/f4-5.6 VR ? i mean with D300s if possible.

Unfortunately I currently have neither a 70-300 VR nor a D300s...
