That's terrible... It's reported that thousands of people had to evacuate... Rice farms are destroyed... Lot's of production plants are swamped.
And I'm afraid, plenty of smart a**es will try to benefit from this disaster by manipulating the prices (again)...

According to the latest news the factories of Nikon and Sony are badly damaged. Sony has postponed release of the NEX-7 indefinitely. Nikons consumer to prosumer DLSRs lines will be in short supply soon.
