I suppose Nikon simply has to use the sensors Sony provides. Unless they partner with Samsung <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Nikon have a few(D3100, D3/D700, D3s) 'Nikon' sensors in their DSLR line-up so I can't see why they can't design a brand new FF sensors with digital output which wee seed in Nikon 1 sensors which differs with Sonys design.

- better AF (AF in D700 is already very impressive, frankly I'm very excited about what could be improved here)
