When I try to see what happens when you remove one of them, I much rather remove the left one. Looks much better and more "part of the image" than removing the right one, even though the right one crosses the lines. It actually is this connection that "works".

But the image with both of the light is still nice to see anyway, the street lights are not a bad intrusion. Try with only removing the left one.
