that would be best, but I think we are really only dreaming here. If canon released a high quality evil system, only very few people would buy eos cameras anymore.The only reason to choose a dslr would be the optical viewfinder, if they get the contrast AF up to good speed. If people buy EVil cameras, development and production of DSLrs will become less profitable, resulting in higher prices and few new features. Thus,eventually we will end up with 10s of millions of great and perfectly functional EF lenses that are worth nothing in the secondary market because there are no modern cameras for them. People with big invetsments in the system will not like it.
