Samsung NX lens development video
#1
Quite interesting ... they are developing a 300/2.8 - at least a prototype:

They also have a prototype 700mm lens. See forth pic in http://blog.naver.com/cleanday82?Redirec...0124228527

While prototypes are common in every industry what is extraordinary in this case is that they made public that they have it. IMHO that indicates that they are seriously thinking of making it commercial. The fact that Samsung is a company that has no problems of announcing which lenses will go to production only strengthens that view.

I just wonder about the max aperture.

Interesting blog. Samsung looks quite ambitious about DSLRs. Is any of these lenses covering FF?

I checked this morning - the 50-200 is nowhere available. I'm not sure whether they take it THAT serious.

Sounds like nice ideas but bad execution to me. It wouldn't be the first time for Samsung.

I can spot a 700mm image but not a 700mm prototype. It could be a K-mount lens via adapter.
