How can you determine anything from an image of less than 1mp in size? The only thing we can see is that the not in focus parts do not look good. For the rest.. we can't determine anything. Even cellphone photos can look great at these sizes. And even my Sigma 18-50mm looks a LOT better at f4, and that is a zoom lens.

My point: Just about any lens can be deemed acceptable, if this is your benchmark.
