Well, it's a "Walimex" mirror but I reckon it could be a Samyang under the hood. There're a couple of Walimex lenses made by Samyang.

Well, it's way beyond normal testing parameter. We can provide reliable tests till 400-500mm maximum. Beyond it's a gamble.

As affordable supertele it is really worth of testing. Most interesting would be to look at well PP images <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />.

That was my first thought, too. You'll probably have to find something to replace the tripods with ... something made of concrete comes to my mind <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
