I don't disagree that the EVIL setups are primarily targeted toward the lower-end. That said, there certainly are good lenses available like the Panasonic 45/2.8 and the Panasonic 20/1.7 which offer both excellent IQ and portability. I did briefly test the Olympus 12-60 on my E-P2 at the store some months back and found the quality to be impeccable (made my D700/Nikon 24-120 look quite mediocre by comparison). Unfortunately, it's a rather unwieldy combination and requires 2-3 seconds to acquire focus.
I hadn't read about Nikon's upcoming system, but a high-end mirrorless option would be very much appreciated! Thanks for your thoughts!
