Hmm... ZA 24-70 2.8 @ 24mm looks just as good...

I like the size of the new 24 but f/2 is really neither here nor there in terms of aperture. For flexibility or landscapes you can go a stop slower, and get a 24-70 or a 16-35 zoom. For shallower DOF, you can go a stop faster and get a 24 1.4.

I was talking mostly about small aperture work... and not necessarily about Sony's 24-70...



Also, why isn't there a bokeh demo of the 24 f/2?
