Forums > Back > m.Zuiko 40-150
#1
I recently compared my Canon 70-300 IS with the m.Zuiko 40-150 on an EPL1 body. It was a completely non-scientific comparison and, therefore, I do not want to make any statements regarding sharpness except that the Zuiko does not seem to be very bad or something like that. (By contrast, the m.Zuiko 9-18 @ 18mm was visibly softer than my Tamron 17-50 non-VC and the Panasonic 20mm pencake.)

However, one thing was strange: the FOV of the zuiko @ 100m or 150mm was similar to the FOV of the Canon @ 70mm or 135mm. The target was only about 3m away.

I reckon the Zuiko is an IF lens. These get "shorter" towards closer distances.
