expected (at least for FF) ...
there is a "graphical" typo in the verdict ...
optical quality: "3* to 3*" ... more likely you meant "2+* to 3*"

I'm happy with mine on a 5d.
So, bring on the L version, and let's see what 3 times the price will get you.
Does this test indicate that the 70-300 IS will also perform quite well on a high-megapixel APS-C body like the 550D or 60D? I still have Canon glass (including this zoom lens) and consider the purchase of a new Canon body because there are still no good & small lenses for the Sony NEX and only 1 or 2 good lenses for my E-PL1.

I will have a look (actually I did a brief test on the 50D) but this may take a couple of days.
