K10D to K-5 would be a great step up, you'll get resolution, ISO (won't know yourself in an available light situation), fps, bigger better screen at the back, a dedicated ISO button, the list goes on and on <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' />

Only downside will be the loss of battery cover and sd card doors, they to me shouted detail quality or over engineering ala Mercedes back in the day.
