No criticism this time Miro. You make the boring dutch coast line look good.

Hey Miro,

great one! Just one comment - I would try to reduce the highlights in the sky a little bit... but this is just nit-picky for sure and doesn't change the fact that this is an amazing shot <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':o' />

Bye Sebastian

Hello and thanks for all comments.

Sebastian I had some doubt about the sky too. I can easily recover highlights. I have 3 autobracketed RAW. However I’m still not happy with the sky colors

Image data.

This image is manually merged from 3 autobracketed RAWs.

1. The biggest part is coming from EV0 RAW - foreground and water

2. To lighten some parts of pilra and rocks I have used EV +2 image

3. I need sharp ship I used EV-2 image. The sky comes from EV-2 too.

All postporcessing is done in adobe photoshop CS3. I took me less that one hour to analyze image, make a sketch what I want to achieve, post process and order print. It is amazingly fast compared to the old dark-room days isn't it?

many thanks,

Miro

Very nice indeed, Miro. I also wanted to say you've done a fantastic job making the Dutch coast look dramatic. The only criticism I have is that the pink/violet hue looks slightly unnatural - but I wasn't there. <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' />
