The 85mm 1.5 is the same lens better adapter for video with an aperture measured in T stops, optically they are the same lens!

So rokinon 85mm f1.4 is the same lens as samyang 85mmf1.4 ?

I already own rokinon 8mmf3.5 fisheye and I find it an amazing lens

It is not the sharpest lens, but it renders nicely. Manual focus only, that would not be an issue for me as I use the Eg-S super precision focussing screen in my 6D for big aperture MF. But it might be an issue for you.

why should it be an issue for me ?

I can easily change the focus screen on my 5D ? (and adjust the chims Tongue )

750D has live view with focus peaking.

What isn't pleasing is having my topic drifted out of the main subject each time.

I know samyang 85mm f1.4 is a very good lens, I just wanted to verify that's the same lens
