Nice little lens !!
the issue is only mostly dissolved from f/4 ...... resolved !!
Cool lens, Sigma!
So for EOS M there is the standard 3 primes of old:
Canon EF-M 22mm f2 STM (35mm f3.2 FF equivalent)
Canon EF-M 32mm f1.4 STM (50mm f2.2 FF equivalent)
Sigma 56mm f1.4 DC DN (89mm f2,2 FF equivalent)
How traditional! Brings me back to my Nikkormat times.
Great to see the review. Indeed, it very much reflects my impresions of the lens. Solid housing, sharp results and very nice OOF rendering. On m43 this becomes a perfect outdoor portrait lens. And very much matches a combo I used in APSC Pentax days with 77 lmtd.
Only caveat I have is somehow hesitant AF on Pana m43 body. Nothing major, however it is there. I thought of missing DFD at first, however none of my Oly lenses does the same. Out of pure curiosity I wonder what is the reason for this.
Overall, fantastic little lens.
