Samyang AF 12mm f/2 E announced

Seems to be the AF variant of the manual focus 12mm f/2

Odd MTF curve - especially for a lens targeting Astro. It seems to have quite some astigmatism at the corners.

Have you tested the MF version? Can't seem to find a review here.

I think the MTF is just a bit more realistic than the Sony MTFs, and the astigmatism probably is pretty good. I thought coma actually is the big fiend of astro?

Coma and astigmatism are very reasonable, according to LensTip:

People do seem to appreciate it in the astro field.

From the various reviews I read elsewhere it seems to be pretty good optically.
This is a welcome addition in a compact form factor.

I wonder when Samyang is going to release some of their AF lenses for X mount. IIRC Fuji opened their AF protocol to 3rd parties.

From the samples it should have a 7 blades diaphram, much much better than the 6 one in the manual focus version.
