A pancake zoom on a mirrorless camera looks promising, but let's wait what they mean by pancake, is it a collapsible lens?  And let's see the optical qualities.
I need a tiny lens for my RP, will it be this one or the RF 35mm or another upcoming lens??

Let's hope that this will be a mid-grade lens. Canon has lots of pro lenses and el cheapos but in between, there isn't much to speak of.

That would be an awesome lens if it's actually a good one.
I agree, Canon RF has either crazy expensive high-end stuff or cheapo meh stuff.
