I still remember the old Sigma 12-24 which was as wide as it gets for the longest time. Those who could get an FF camera with it were truly envied because they were able to create the images that no one else could. I still see the ole' 12-24 (even the first version) used at times, and had a chance to use the second iteration earlier this year. Now, of course, 12mm is nothing to write home about... Big Grin

I still think that 12mm are about as exotic as a fisheye.

Ha! I own a Samyang 10 mm F/3.5 Premium XT - I can recommend it Smile.
Gear: Canon EOS R with 3 primes and 2 zooms, 4 EF-R adapters, Canon EOS 5 (analog), 9 Canon EF primes, a lone Canon EF zoom, 2 extenders, 2 converters, tubes; Olympus OM-D 1 Mk II & Pen F with 12 primes, 6 zooms, and 3 Metabones EF-MFT adapters ....
