Speaking of flare do you remember tokinas ?
16-28 will give you all types of flare while keeping a good contrast if you like such effects you will absolutely enjoy it. Markus already talked about this in his review.
https://www.opticallimits.com/nikon_ff/5...ff?start=1, frankly I find it much better than other ultrawides especially from optical side since it doesn't rely on digital correction natively vignetting and distortions are low,if it weren't a heavy behemoth to carry with a fragile protruding front element, I would have it my bag all the time

my old Tokina 24-200 is an absolute disaster here with crazy flare and loss of any contrast knowing that in best shooting conditions it's already poor
