Dual gain sensors and auto ISO
#1
A the end of September we were discussing about auto ISO (https://forum.opticallimits.com/showthread.php?tid=5357) and dual gain sensors were mentioned (by thxbb12). I got his point, but I didn't suppose that my camera bodies were affected — I thought it was a feature of more sophisticated models only.
Yesterday I discovered that according to PhotonsToPhotos not only the Sony a6600 sports it, but even the older a6300 does. A bit of surprise.
Now that the point does matter to me I'm puzzled at the fact that auto ISO doesn't take it into consideration.
