It'll be bigger than the E 16-70mm, of course, but given Sony's advancements in lens tech - namely the 24-70/2.8 II - I'd say we can expect something in the ballpark of 500g.
It would be 1.5x the weight of the SEL1670Z — I'm literally peeling off hundreds of grams from the equipment in my backpack, I'm not going to add. Furthermore I checked, 25% of my shots with the SEL1670Z are under 20mm, that 16-20mm range is important for me. From a certain point of view if you have to introduce a gap in the range it would be better the Sigma 16-50mm, after all if the AoV is too wide you can still crop, but not the opposite.
