Nice form factor, decent quality, not perfect - nothing is.

Very good revew!
Was there any problem wih flare or ghosts?
Well, there is a sample image with a sunset in the gallery. I'd say that it did a pretty good job there.

Thank you for the review Klaus.
Since I bought this lens back in December, it's become my new standard lens.
It replaced the Fuji 16-80 f4 which I sold since. I miss the range of the Fuji but I definitely don't miss its IQ ;-)
This little Sigma has very good IQ on a 26MP sensor. The borders could be slightly better, but they are good enough and the size is amazing for a f2.8 lens.
The only minor downside I noticed is that sometimes it doesn't focus properly and I get some blurry pictures, but it's quite rare (on a Fuji X-S10).
To avoid any surprises it's better to always quickly check if the photo is sharp and shot it again if it isn't (I know it's not a problem of slow shutter speed).
It's tricky because the camera confirms the AF is locked, you take the shot, but the photo ends up very blurry. It's clearly an AF issue with the lens (firmware).
Hopefully Sigma will release a fix sometime soon.
Did you happen to encounter a similar issue with your lens?
I can't remember having experienced any obvious issues on the X-H2.

There may be a cure for your AF issues - new firmware for X-mount:
