PENTAX K-3 Mark III Monochrome

But yes, a standard ink printer may not be up to the task.

Regarding the camera - I'm probably repeating myself, but Pentax is designing some truly beautiful cameras.
It's such a pity that they never really made the leap into mirrorless. This reminds me that I've still a Q-S1 somewhere in the closet. lol

I hope Pentax will stay around. The market needs a bit of quirkiness.

Actually my experiences were from two to three years ago when a friend and I were using a local printing shop which used a large pro Canon printer .... looking around reveals huge advances in both B/W printing quality and a fall in prices especially from Epsom multi tank models at around the €700 (A3+ .. six tanks) ... two years is clearly a long time in photography!
Pentax could well have hit upon a winner here, with it's large OVF and traditional DSLR handling ... it could well turn out to be a classic ......

funny calling a DSLR traditional already ... Smile

Edit ...... I wonder if it still has the K3 III's pixel shift ?
