Thanks for the nice work and good pictures ,
I was considering such a lens however after checking real life samples you shared in your review, I definitely prefer the bokeh and rendering of my Canon 100mmf2.8.
This is the purpose of reviews and sharing the samples, anyway, avoiding useless purchases and purchasing what suits best . Many thanks excellent and very helpful review

You're right, I should use it more often. The “problem” is that now I have quite a number of lenses in my bag and even though in the past year I've been enough of a good boy in forcing myself to pick an “uncommon” lens for almost each session, keep it mounted on a body and use it, I'm not rotating them enough (for instance, recently I've been using a lot the Viltrox 56mm ƒ/1.7, but only it).
Yesterday could have been a perfect day for the bubble bokeh: I've been in Côte d'Azur in one of the areas packed with blossoming mimosas. I figured out a close up of bubble-shaped flowers with a background of even-more-bubble-shaped-blurred flowers. There are many in the Italian Riviera too, but not so packed, they're rather scattered, and thus not offering such a wide and easy choice of subjects. Unfortunately also this year I failed my plan to stay there a couple of days in hotel because I couldn't fit three free days in a row with good weather and I had to resort to a daily round-trip (more than 500km). The highway is again a nightmare (yesterday: more than a dozen of construction sites, a few lane change, two accidents with related queues — not to mention one hour stay near Menton (because of... I don't know, I suppose another accident), fortunately during the return trip, so it didn't have an impact apart from the fact that I had dinner a 22:00). So, when I got there I was already tired and literally forgot my self-assigment... (but at least I had a very good hike).
Mimosas are still around for a couple of weeks, so there's still hope.
