It's getting a little crowded in E-mount ...

Let's hope it's better than their 24-70 - of course, if it is, the change can be attributed to the magic SK sauce. :-)

Looks more appealing than their 24-70, would be great if it were true!

After Schneider Kreuznach had seemingly gone to "optical seed" over the years, it looks like the budding Samyang/Kreuznach "bromance" has blossomed a very decently sharp lens with this F2.8 12-24 zoom ..... it's sharp sharp sharp .....
.. not that it's without it's flaws ... one of which is flare, rather lack of contrast in the frame center at 24mm wide open ... it looks like there's some more internal blacking to be done or maybe some extra lens coatings to be applied .... a slight pity ..... the rest is par for the course for a modern ML optic .... ie vignetting/distortions etc.

see Christopher Frost's review:

this lens could take root .....

Nice, thanks. I don't know if I ever go about retiring my good old Canon 16-35mm f/4 lens, but here's hoping this lens become availaible in Z-mount by then. Smile
