Yeah, it's almost unreal, especially compared to the 14mm primes of yore. It's not fast, sure, but you had to stop down most any 14mm lens to make them resolve decently.

P.S. Bits of the review seem to come from the 16mm f/1.8G ...

  Amazing sharpness and value .... However, I read it three times, I too am confused by the mixed references to the Sony 16mm F1.8G lens !!

I'm kinda envious now, and irritated that such great lenses are available now, but my old ones turn into paperweights. Smile

P.S. For some inexplicable reason I think we might see the review of a 200mm prime lens pretty soon. Smile

Yes, I'd also like to see longer prime lenses.

Laowa is already trying to escape the "Viltrox menace" (...) with their 180mm f/4.5 and 200mm f/2.

FWIW, I have 2 more Viltroxes here at the moment. I really like the EVO. ;-)
