I feel I have all the gear I need for excellent photos, just repaired my tripod, brought a new shutter release, Hoya pro1 digital polarizer and all ready to take pictures when I discover it is gonna rain all the weekend after a week of sunshine, we will have sunshine back on monday...

Any suggestions for shooting on rainy days ?

what about the nearby beach ?

on my first time I had raindrops all over the protruding front element of my lens, had to come back once it cleared, markus might to his review that the protruding front element can cause unexpected surprises especially when you shoot under the rain
