Do vloggers use super wide angle lenses for vlogging? (Asking for a dinosaur friend)
Yeah, the two lenses have already appeared on Canon Australia's website on the RF lens page, just when you click on the "view lens" button, you end up on an "OOps!
The page you're looking for can't be found" page.

And a few minutes later: they can be found.

This is interesting "69.2mm x 40.2mm (when lens retracted)" ... retracted ...

Hmmh, the MTFs of the 16mm look ... crap.

The 100-400mm seems half-decent.

Yes, it is definitely not an Irix 15mm f2.4 or Sigma 14mm f1.8.

But then again,  it does beat the Sony 16mm f2.8 APS-C lens hands down.

Let's say they look like what we were afraid they'd look like Wink

Likely hinting that it's not an IF design. I doubt it means 'retracted' the Nikon way.
Like how the EF-M 22mm f2 STM works. It puts itself in the shortest position when powering down/getting unmounted from the camera (to prevent damage of the AF gears).

It would be interesting to see the MTFs at f/8. Haven't found them yet. The performance at f/2.8 is not all THAT interesting here.
