preview: Canon EF 35mm f/2 USM IS - JJ_SO - 09-27-2013 I'm curious: How did you feel the difference in use? What was more pleasant to handle? preview: Canon EF 35mm f/2 USM IS - Klaus - 09-27-2013 Well, the Sigma feels more substantial for sure. I don't think that this matters though. The Canon has a light-speed AF which makes a difference maybe. Given their overall characteristics they are different but similar in desirability. Personally I'd probably lean towards the Sigma due to a bitingly sharp center (better than in the Nikon test) even at f/1.4. preview: Canon EF 35mm f/2 USM IS - Klaus - 09-29-2013 I'm afraid to mention that this test has to wait till Tuesday ... The 35/2IS has its own set of weaknesses though. |
