Finally a really nice lens for the Nex? Samples look very pleasant.

Well, it's a macro lens. Nobody should really be able to mess up such a thing.

The samples look OKish on my screen, but it´s a lightweight (the modest max aperture...) and not too pricy lens, which fits well into the NEX system.

Looks very sharp... And the bokeh is very pleasent in all samples with various background distances. That's not something you see everyday...

But why that FL? 30mm on a 1.5 cropped sensor is neither wide nor long enough...

Equivalent to 50mm macro on FF. I really wish Canon would release one...

Okayish ? What aspect are you complaining about ? I didn't really spot a significant flaw.

~45mm FF equivalent, actually...

Well I use my 24-85mm zoom set to 35mm with max. 1:2 ratio on FF and it is usually not wide enough... But of course it's a personal thing...

I´m not complaining, it´s just that I didn´t get goose pimples while looking <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Big Grin' />

Ok, I had my Canon hat on and was thinking in 1.6x, but regardless 10% is not really a significant difference.
