a long long time ago i felt that flickr were compressing the pictures and not well, but maybe it was me and might not be so now ..... anyhow what about ....
..... http://forum.photozone.de/ ??
..... and i've thought that http://dutchphotozone.com/ might be interesting, but they don't speak english (probably wisely :-)
..... and you can always take rss feeds from http://www.dpreview.com/ for the interesting to read info, but sometimes the forums can take time to work thru as there's so much chatter over there, anyhow i get my useful info right here at pz
but really, as very helpful as the web is, i also rather like looking at pictures on pieces of paper - so galleries, or mags like say the national geographic i like for the quality from the pros to get a feeling of what works or not
.... or just look around.... at the current Picasso show here (just astonishing) i thought that many fellow visitors looked like they were models for his paintings - definitely worth a shot, except no photos allowed
