It seems to be hard to do good RAW conversion of files produced by Fuji X-trans sensors. Whether that is to blame on the sensor or the software developers may be a political topic ;-)

Both in camera JPEG and LR4 produce this type of watercolor effect, but it seems at least DCRAW+1/2 Median comes closer to what I'd call a nice output.
Unfortunately, LR is even worse than in-camera in this respect, so a new workflow will be needed as well (in addition to all new lenses) ;(
