Sony 200-600mm vs Sigma 150-600mm C sharpness comparison (APS-C)
#1
Before selling the Sigma 150-600mm I ran a quick test for a face-to-face sharpness comparison. My expectations were that the Sony is sharper, but not so much. It is actually so, but the difference is smaller than I expected (basically you see something only at APS-C borders at 600mm).

I tested against a subject 600 meters away (basically it's near infinite focusing, landscape mode).
Does it make sense that for subjects 10-50 meters away differences are more evident? I could postpone packing the Sigma lens and run another test in the next few days.

Thanks.

PS Not really important, just for fun; the reasons for switching to the Sony are others.
