Since it's a special lens, it deserves a special review, does this lens suffer from focus breathing?
Close to minimal focusing distance is it still 100mm and f2. 8?

If it stays 100mm, it WILL focus breath. So what do you want, a lens to keep its focal length, or no focus breathing?

And lenses do NOT keep their f-value when focussing (very) close. Both IF lenses (which this is not) and lenses that move their optics as a block lose f-stops, with the latter it is called the bellows effect.

Klaus, you published the review before DPR announced the lens. How does it feel?
