Maybe you should increase your choice of lens reviewers, dave. Photographylife has test results (= numbers! written! conclusion!) of 35/1.8 S, 24-70/4 S, 14-30/4 S, I'm not sure about the last 24-70/2.8

Yeah, maybe I should ....... these are very good and (over) complete reviews with some fabulous images too ...... great for a lens which attracts your interest ..... not so great for a quick scan ........

I recommend that OL runs the "Readers Digest" versions!

still nothing for the AF-S 50mm F1.8S ...... (DXO aside)

I stand by most of what I've written (admittedly except the 28-90 Tongue) - if i hadn't considered these lenses important, i wouldn't have listed them. Smile

Alright, if you ask me to narrow it down to what I consider the most important - say - trio, I'd name the Tamron 45 and the two Sony GMs, 24 and 100-400.

That's not to say BC doesn't name some good ones either.

Oh, and of course the Sony 50/1.4 ZA FE + 85/1.4 GM. I'm sure many people would want to see these reviewed.

FWIW, I ordered the 24GM and 28-75.

The Sony 85/1.8 HAS been tested. It's the 85/1.4 that wasn't touched yet.

There are not much modern 70-200/2.8 lenses in OL's database. Are they all already so good that we can buy what we want?

Great. Just ordered heavy weight champion 70-200 Sports - as we get more and more wind or even storms, I need some counterweight to hang on... Big Grin

What you say? Super boring to test? Have to agree...
