Of course you would not admit it.

Both of you are seriously discussing the bokeh quality of the lens based solely on a sample image barely bigger than a thumbnail? Wink

Come on, let's wait for some proper samples first...

I'm not. As for him... it doesn't matter which images are available.

So you no longer think it's "as soft as it gets"? Wink

Seriously: let's stay calm and patient, please. I'm sure quite a few high resolution sample images will be available soon.

I do think the bokeh is as soft as it gets. And larger samples are available.

You know Brightcolors isn't interested in this lens, nor Pentax.

While BC is rather extreme is his posts and insists on clarifying every tiny detail, he has a more pragmatic approach when it comes to gear and uses decent yet not that expensive lenses, lately in a post he was happy he bought a really cheap lens.
Also in the forum he seems to like Canon a lot, however in real life he uses an adapted Nikon lens, I wouldn't be surprised if he buys a Pentax lens one day

He's a troll - see post #3, far from the only one of this kind.

I for one, think this will be one of the most welcomed lenses for Pentaxians ..... a solid high quality traditional FL portrait lens ...... and if it's anything like the 50mm 1.4 ...... there shouldn't be too much to complain about ....

........ God knows they deserve one after all these years !! ........

It should be every bit as good as the D FA*, and better in its handling of CA.
