FWIW canon is updating dual pixel autofocus technology to quad pixel autofocus that is expected to solve a lot of issues, dunno how modern Sony cameras perform for autofocus but compared to EOSRP my A6000 is way behind, however I expect Sony has gone a long way since then and their autofocus should be much better.
The most amazing thing about the A6000 is that it was released in Feb 2014 and it's still officially part of the lineup.
It's probably a record in the consumer electronics industry lol
