I noticed that this test was made with the X-E1. How is the performance of the camera? With significant improvements campared to X-pro1 in responsive aspect? How is the focus speed compared to e.g. GX-1 or GF-1?

It is better than the X-Pro, yes.

I haven't measured the AF speed against the GX-1 or GH-3 formally but I'd say it's maybe half as fast now. It depends on the lens, of course. The 18-55 is quite fast for instance. Object tracking remains out of question.

 

For me and my style of photography it's fast enough. For a major improvement we have to wait for the successor using the X100s AF.
