The primary advantage of mirror less is size/weight. The primary disadvantage is EVF and slow focus. You can bet the two disadvantage will eventually go away (evf imho are almost better than real viewfinders in terms of overall feature (though actual presentation of view is not yet as good) and the improvement rate is quite rapid (i.e, they will only get better). The focus issue is a bit beyond me in the sense that I am not an expert in the field and i do not understand all the fine details in making a quality focusing mechanism that is both very fast and very accurate (contrast focus is plenty accurate and phase focus is plenty fast - now we need fast and accurate <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='

Anyways I think DSLR (as many have said) have a limited time line; though that does not mean rugged cameras have a limited time line.

My guess is the new pentax FF will have an EVF and as a FF camera they will not have to do a lot on the lens side but newer lenses will take advantage of the lack of mirror box (well newer wide angle or wide angle zoom). As a FF camera it is optically not possible to make olympus size lenses; but G2 (contax G) size lenses would be nice.
