I've seen a few complaints from landscape photographers in other forums that foliage just doesn't come out right (not so much colour but the sensor is warping the fine details).
I am curious does the ex-1 have better performance (auto focus et all) than the pro 1?

The EX-1 has the new firmware that improves the AF and other parts of the operation. This firmware is contained in the last update to the X pro 1, so that you havethe same specs as the EX-1. As far as IQ is concerned, they should be identical. To stay abreast of the evolution of the Fuji line, this site is in my opinion the best; http://www.scoop.it/t/fuji-x-pro1/p/2515804892/fuji-xpro1-best-travel-camera-ever-abandoned-building-shoot-nate-yomadic-com
